Disability-Related Resources and Campus Accessibility Information

Disability Parking
A limited amount of disability parking is available in Galvez Lot. Please display a valid disabled person parking placard or a license plate (any state) to access these areas. If you have a state-issued disabled person parking placard/plate, you may also park in the following spaces on campus:
- Designated blue spaces
- Service Vehicle spaces (a posted time limit may apply)
- Commuter (“A” or “C”) and residential permit spaces
- Metered/visitor pay parking spaces except in Li Ka Shing Center/Beckman Lot

Shuttles and Golf Carts
Special Family Weekend Marguerite Shuttles will make stops at various locations around campus on Friday and Saturday. Shuttle schedule and stop locations will be posted closer to the weekend. All Marguerite shuttles are wheelchair accessible.
A limited golf cart service will also be available for Family Weekend guests with limited mobility. Please note that there may be a wait time for golf cart rides. In some instances, it may be beneficial to park closer to the venue where activities are occurring. For safety reasons, personal golf carts are not allowed to be brought onto the campus during Family Weekend.

Service and Support Animals
Please note that the university restricts pets and emotional support animals from public spaces on campus, with the exception of service animals that are specifically trained to perform a service and/or task for an individual with a disability.
Restricted areas include dining areas, athletic venues, performances spaces, etc.
If you have questions related to the above, please contact the Diversity & Access Office at (650) 725-0326 or disability.access@stanford.edu.
