Welcome with the President and Provost
Join President Jonathan Levin and Provost Jenny Martinez in Memorial Auditorium or via livestream as they welcome you to Family Weekend.
Dining Hall Lunch with Students
Enjoy a complimentary lunch with your student in their dining hall on Friday. During this lunch hosted by Residential & Dining Enterprises (R&DE), you can also meet your student’s Resident Director (RD), professional staff members who support the holistic well-being of Stanford undergraduates.
Student Life Open Houses: Building Community and Belonging at Stanford
Join us as Stanford’s community centers and student life offices open their doors to families and students. These open houses celebrate the many ways students find connection, belonging, and support in their academic and personal journeys. All are welcome to explore our spaces, meet staff and student leaders, and learn about the programs that help every student thrive.
Student Experience Sessions
Attend panel discussions on a variety of topics about the student experience, specifically selected for the weekend.
Meet VPSA + VPUE Drop-In Hour
Drop by the Student Affairs suite to meet Michele Rasmussen, Vice Provost for Student Affairs, and James Hamilton, Vice Provost for Undergraduate Education, and their administrative staff members.
Residence Hall Receptions
Families are invited to meet Resident Fellows (RFs) and Resident Assistants (RAs) for refreshments at student residences. Receptions are hosted in the lounge of each house listed, unless indicated otherwise. Please coordinate venue selections with your student.
University Resource Fair
Meet with various representatives from campus-wide departments and groups to learn about student support resources.
Academic Discussions
Attend special academic discussions on topics of interest to families specifically selected for the weekend.
Triviapalooza! Student Trivia Contest & Live Bands
If you don't have plans for lunch, stop by the Arbor for a fun round of trivia and live music hosted by students.
Cardinal Winter Showcase
Join your student and celebrate the closing of Family Weekend with special student performances, food, games and other fun activities. All registered families welcome. Meet your student there and join the fun!
Tours
Explore the Stanford campus and iconic destinations with self-guided tours. Limited in-person docent-led tours hosted by various organizations may also be available.
